Our new beginning !!

An exciting new chapter is happening...the WALK WITH SCOTT family has now became  WALK WITH SCOTT FOUNDATION! which is a registered Charity

Although our aims are still to promote health and well-being in our areas,

we hope to hold fundraising events for The Foundation by the means of Walking, hosting Ceilidhs, dinner dances and coffee mornings, etc..., and then, in turn,

use the funds raised to help support local charities and causes.

Our 1st project of the year was to raise money to buy Memory Pods  for all Care Homes and Day Centres in East Lothian, and this was a huge success with us raising enough funds to allow us to buy 5 fantastic RemPods.

Along with the RemPods we also supplied hundreds of hand knitted and crocheted 'Twiddlemuffs' to dementia sufferers across East Lothian - with thanks to donations from local knitters.

We have also supported Xtreme Walkies on their massive fundraising cycle across Iceland, Kinship Carers and Headway

Overall a terrific year for our Foundation so far.

We are now moving onto our next community projects...

SO, if you would like to find out more about our future planned events, or would like to organise your own event to help raise money for the Foundation, please get in touch by completing the 'Contact' form on this website.
